The business needs to relieve pressure on their engineers in winter by helping homeowners resolve minor heating issues themselves.

Our strategy focused on educating British households – and letting the engineers do the talking.

Using British Gas forecast data and consumer surveys, we revealed the number of homes at risk each week and the ‘DIY knowledge gap’, backed up with tips and watch-outs.

The campaign, which saw British Gas engineers take to the airwaves to share handy hints and advice, helped cut engineer callouts by 15% year-on-year.
