Scape Group builds for the future with Citypress hire

Scape Group, the public-sector partnership that operates the UK’s most widely used construction frameworks, has appointed Citypress.

The organisation works with over 1,000 public bodies to efficiently deliver their construction, infrastructure and consultancy projects. They are currently performance managing £5bn of live projects.

We have been appointed to help communicate Scape’s track record in delivering outstanding construction projects to both the public sector and the construction delivery marketplace.

We secured a long-term agreement following a competitive process and will now deliver corporate, trade and social media support alongside political stakeholder engagement.

Our plans also include devising and delivering integrated campaigns using our in-house research specialists [link] to generate new insights related to the issues that really matter to public bodies across the United Kingdom.

Matt Carrington-Moore, chief strategy officer at Scape, said: “The system shock that Coronavirus created, has prompted organisations across the globe to consider how they improve the way things are done.

“As we renew our built environment, we see huge opportunities in accelerating and improving digital transformation, social value measurement and tackling the sustainability agenda head on. Through a collaborative approach to delivery, these aspirations must converge so that as an industry, we can bounce back better and continue to deliver high quality projects that benefit society.

“We believe we have a role to play in supporting both our public sector colleagues and industry to lean-in to these challenges. The strategy and ideas that Citypress have developed are tremendously exciting and will certainly strengthen our ability to deliver real value for the taxpayer.

Our director, Ricky Ambury, added: “This is an exciting brief for us where we can draw on the expertise of all our specialisms to deliver work that will have a meaningful impact on the future shape of a key economic sector.”
