Citypress and Seafish win CIM Marketing Excellence Award
17th September 2020
Now in their eighth year, the Marketing Excellence Awards identify and celebrate outstanding marketing by organisations, individuals and teams.
The judges were full of praise for Seafood Week, which is aimed at getting more people to eat more fish, more often.
Our media relations work included recruiting leading dietician Juliette Kellow to create super fish recipes that secured exclusive coverage on Mail Online. A series of inspirational aquatic artwork was also created, turning iconic landmarks including the white cliffs of Dover, into seafood spectacles, and was featured in the national and regional media.
We also appointed eight regional Seafood Week ambassadors who shared their top tips, highlighting the best ways to buy, prepare and cook seafood, which achieved coverage in key regional titles.
That helped achieve a 72% year-on-year uplift in audience reach from 76 million to 130 million and a 56% uplift in social media impressions for #seafoodweek from 53.8 million to 86 million.
The news comes after a number of award wins for Citypress, including being named the first ever winners of the PRCA Ethical Champions awards and PRWeek naming us one of the best places to work in the industry.
